Come join us for a fun day of learning all the basics of fishing at Twin Rivers Park! This in-person event is perfect for women who are new to fishing or just looking to brush up on their skills.Our experienced instructor will teach you everything you need to know, from setting up your rod to reeling in your first fish at this fun,laid back ladies only Event.

At this Women’s Fishing 101 class, you’ll have the opportunity to learn essential fishing techniques, from how to use your rod/reel, knot tying ,rigs for fishing, casting your rod and much more. Our experienced instructor will guide you through the basics, ensuring you feel confident and comfortable on the water.

Whether you’re interested in freshwater or saltwater fishing, this event is great for both! We do primarily focus on inshore salt water techniques but the basics can be applied everywhere! We will learn about different species of fish, their habitats, and the best knots/ rigs to use to target them. You’ll also gain knowledge on fishing regulations and conservation practices, so you can enjoy this hobby responsibly.

Don’t worry if you don’t have any fishing gear! We’ll provide all the necessary equipment, including rods, reels, tackle and bait as well as your entry into the awesome giveaway with some great fishing prizes... All included with your Registration. Just bring yourself, a positive attitude, and get ready to have a great time with fellow lady anglers.

Things to Note:

Raffle: There is a Great Raffle at this event for some great fishing prizes if you'd like to participate. (Tickets can be purchased at event for $5 each)

BYOG: If you have your own Gear (Spinning rod/reel) then please bring it for the class! But don’t worry if you don’t have any fishing gear! There will be spinng rods to use for the event. Just bring yourself, a positive attitude, and get ready to have a great time with fellow lady anglers.
